::We have many German users, so familiar with the ö ä ü characters, and Mediawiki is capable of this too, so i was surprised to read this and see that the extension WikiFeeds caused this problem. Because it also caused other errors from time to time, i deactivated it for now, even though i like to have the feature (extended RSS feeds per category, per user, etc..), but its not worth it until we try a newer version, if one exists. Anyways, now you can use "ö" and other Umlaut characters in page names again. Thanks for pointing this bug out. [[User:mutante|mutante]] 00:02, 14 February 2009 (UTC) |

I'm sorry for exposing you but you've already been exposed. I don't think it's a secret anymore. I was not one who figured you out! [[User:Pope Hilde|Pope Hilde]] 03:21, 29 July 2009 (UTC) |

- We have many German users, so familiar with the ö ä ü characters, and Mediawiki is capable of this too, so i was surprised to read this and see that the extension WikiFeeds caused this problem. Because it also caused other errors from time to time, i deactivated it for now, even though i like to have the feature (extended RSS feeds per category, per user, etc..), but its not worth it until we try a newer version, if one exists.
