A collaborative editor enables people to work on a text document simltaneously from different internet accesses.
- MoonEdit, not open source, no mac version, a perfect history, typing sound in win version
- Gobby, open source, cross-platform. Released in June 05.
- subethaedit, only mac (?), free for non-commercial use
- PabloDraw, open source, windows only
- ACE open source, cross-platform, uses Java
