Vserver on debian

• install debian using expert mode (type "expert" on boot screen)

... config ...

• select vserver-kernel when asked
• finish installation and log in as root
• apt-get install util-vserver vserver-debiantools ssh
• newserver --vsroot /var/lib/vservers/ --hostname vs0 --domain sq --ip 192.168.0.150/8 --dist etch --mirror http://debian.netcologne.de/debian --interface eth0
  • (currently you can only choose between woody, sarge and etch)
• vserver vs0 start

your vserver is now running

• vserver vs0 enter
  • to connect to console / or just use ssh to connect
