The Linksys NSLU2 is a NAS which has 2 USB ports to which harddrives can be connected.
the nslu2-linux project allows one to run a linux operating system instead of the original firmware and thereby enabling a couple of nice features, such as having a torrent client running. a linux enabled NSLU2 also reaches higher speeds which allows recording and streaming .ts streams on it with high bitrates without any problems.
