Ingredients
- 1 pkg. fresh chopped spinach
- About 6 Tablespoons of Ghee or Olive oil
- 1.5 cups of Paneer
- 1 Tablespoon of white flour
- .5 teaspoon of Fenugreek (a spice)
- .5 teaspoon of Garam Masala (a spice)
- 1 teaspoon of Salt
Ingredients to make Masala
- .5 inch piece fresh Ginger
- .5 Tablespoon Coriander powder
- .5 teaspoon of Tumeric
- .5 teaspoon Cumin Powder
- .25 teaspoon Paprika
- 4 Tablespoons of Whey or water
Blend Masala into a paste and set aside
Directions
- Blend Paneer with 1 Tablespoon of Flour
- Roll out into a square or rectangle
- Cut into .5 inch (cm?) cubes and bake at 350F (C?) for about 8-19 minutes
- Set aside
Next:
- Heat 2 Tablespoons of Ghee, when it begins to smoke:
- Add .5 teaspoon of Fenugreek and let it lightly brown (which will take a few seconds)
- Add the Masala and cook until slightly dry.
- Add the Spinach, stir through and cook until tender about 5 minutes or so, covered
- Add .5 teaspoon Garam Masala and 1 teaspoon of salt. Stir through
- Add the Paneer Squares
Ready to serve. Another variation is you can steam 1 Carrot, blend and add to the spinach.
