- login to cgn via ssh with the hostname, user and pass you got from phrack
- screen
- irssi -h seti23.net OR irssi -h seti23.de (or a couple other vhosts...)
- /server -6 efnet.ipv6.xs4all.nl
- /j #seti23
- chat...
- Ctrl+A+D
- exit
Next time you come back and from now on just login and use "screen -x" to get back to your running session and Ctrl+A+D, then type exit, to exit again.
This method features: encryption from you to cgn, you using IPv6, a seti23 virtual host, never disconnecting, being able to read everything that happened while you were gone, doesnt need any extra listening port, better than any bnc, thru using multiple vhosts prevents problems with max connections on one irc server, has working ident, you get score on chanfix db... and more
