    Acrobot is also an [[IRC]] game [[Bot|bot]] that is coded by Steven Macintyre, in [[TCL]] and runs on the Lagnet IRC network (irc.lagnet.org.za) in [irc://irc.lagnet.org.za/acro #acro].

    The game was based on a old game run on [[Undernet]]/[[Dalnet]] and which was run on Lagnet some years back. The original lagnet bot was coded in [[C]] as an [[Eggdrop]] module.

    The concept of the Acro game is to create logical and valid phrases with the given letters from the bot, people then vote for the best acro and scores/points are then awarded. For more informaton see http://www.acrobot.org

    Acrobot is an IRC bot fully written in Perl language.

    Basicaly it is a minimalist kernel, acrobot.pl, that manage the connection, and some modules to add just the functionnalities you need.
