Foobar2000 is an advanced audio player for the Windows platform. Some of the basic features include ReplayGain support, low memory footprint and native support for several popular audio formats.

foobar2000 is Freeware under a proprietary BSD license and developed by Peter Pawlowski, a former freelance contractor for Nullsoft.

While the core is closed source, the author provides an extensive SDK under the BSD license, which also includes the source code for most of the components.
